No scraper near the paint
Warm TKS fluid melts frost and light overnight ice. Nothing touches the skin but the fluid.
A stainless tank that warms TKS fluid and sprays it under hand pressure. On the ground, before engine start. No scraper near the paint.
300 W $799 · 1200 W $1,499 · sleeve and bag included
A large hand pump pressurizes the tank. Pump the handle and watch the gauge. There is nothing to charge.
A mechanical dial reads tank pressure as you pump. It needs no power, so it still reads on a freezing morning.
A built-in pressure relief valve sits on the other side of the neck from the gauge, and vents if pressure climbs too high.
A stainless shell with metal fittings holds the fluid. Seals are rated for deicing fluid.
Closed-cell neoprene wraps the tank body. It holds heat after you unplug, keeps the cold shell off your hands and won’t soak up fluid.
A 120 V solid stainless element with built-in temperature control threads into a bung on the front wall, so it can be replaced in the field.
The hose leaves a brass barb beside the neck and runs to the wand. Turn the nozzle for a narrow jet or a wide, fine spray.
Both heaters bring the fluid to the same temperature. One just gets there sooner.

Hangar outlet, block-heater cord, or the truck’s inverter on the 300 W. Plug in right before you head out.

Work the large hand pump and watch the mechanical gauge. The relief valve vents if pressure climbs too high.

Turn it for a narrow stream, or a wide, fine mist of warm TKS fluid.

Frost and light overnight ice are off. Do a thorough preflight, then start the engine.

Warm TKS fluid melts frost and light overnight ice. Nothing touches the skin but the fluid.

The pump, gauge and relief valve are mechanical. Everything you check still works when it’s freezing.

A ½ in neoprene sleeve keeps the fluid warm after you unplug, and the cold shell off your hands.
The sleeve and storage bag are included with either heater.

120 V stainless, with built-in temperature control. Threads into a bung, so it can be replaced in the field.
